I. Introduction
===============================================================================
Welcome to this wonderful FAQ that is aptly named a "Store List." In this
guide, you'll find a list of all the items that can be purchased at which
stores, as well as what can be sold to which stores. I'm assuming that you
already have the game "Planescape: Torment," and that you've already played
quite a bit into it (or finished it and are playing again) to be even using
this guide.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SPOILERS CAN BE IN THIS GUIDE. CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
How to Use
==========
Here I'll tell you how to use this guide. An example is listed below
Location: Lower Ward Market - This will tell you where the store is located.
Sell Markup: 120% - The percentage of the base item price that the store will
sell that item. The base price of a 'Frosty Mint Candy' is 100 coppers, at this
particular store it would sell for 120 coppers.
Buy Markup: 80% - The percentage of the base item price that the store will
purchase an item. The base price of a 'Frosty Mint Candy' is 100 coppers, this
store would buy it for 80 coppers.
Identify: 100 - The how much it costs to identify something. 100 coppers are
the norm.
Steal Failure: 45% - If you try to steal something from a store, this number is
subtracted from your pickpocket rating. If your pickpocket rating was 100%,
then if you stole from this particular store you would have a 55% chance of
success.
You can buy, sell, identify, and steal at this store. - Some stores you cannot
buy from, like Lothar's. Some stores you cannot sell to, like Coaxmetal's. Some
stores... you get the idea. If you can't steal from a store, obviously a steal
option is not available! This outlines that kind of stuff.
Items for sale:
This would be a listing of the items that are available at this store. The
quantity of items is also shown. If an item does not have a number attached,
that store has an infinite quantity of that item.
Can sell:
This is a list of the types of items you can sell to the store. Most of them
are self explanatory, if 'Earrings' is listed then you can sell stuff like
Copper Earrings and Gold Earrings. Note: Most charms (Clot Charm, Sadistic
Frame, etc.), as well as quest items (Dream Vial, Unfolding Portal) go under
the category Miscellaneous.
Rooms available:
This lists the kinds of rooms available and their cost. Each type of room heals
successively more HP. I recommend going for the best room available, unless
you're penniless or something.
