This article explains how to fix your 2Wire 2700HG router given by Singnet (a Singapore ISP) if it gets stuck with the Ethernet and Power light solid on. Many other Internet Service Proivders (ISPs) around the globe use this gateway router as well.
ANOTHER COMMON ISSUE: If your modem keeps restarting once the power LED turns solid green, the most likely cause is the power adaptor. Replace the power adaptor and all should be well again.
Any wired PC will start reporting a "Limited or No Connectivity error". The router stays with the Power light and Ethernet light solid on.
Hitting the reset button restarts the router with the same result.

The fix is actually very simple. Most people would wait for some time before hitting the reset button. The trick here is to hit the button once the power light comes to solid green.
That's it. With luck, the DSL light will come on after it restarts. You will need to reconfigure your login and, if needed. port forwarding.
Apparently, yes. This thread has more information.
